🚦TRAFFIC CONGESTION🚙

Traffic congestion can be see all over the country, mostly in western province. A higher number of people and traffic enter Colombo daily, which is the financial & commercial capital of Sri Lanka causes severe impacts in terms of traffic congestion. Usually early mornings & late evenings are considered as a peak periods of traffic congestion due to increasing of public movements.

                     Sustainable development is the norm which is followed in the developed countries in the modern world. Traffic congestion has now become a major obstacle for us to achieve sustainable and green development goals. Air pollution is the main environment hazard done by the traffic congestion.

                                                                                               As a nation, we can follow two applicable solutions to reduce traffic congestion. We can encourage the public transport system which can directly reduce the number of vehicles. And we can enhance the road and transporting facilities in order to enhance the space, which reduces the traffic congestion. 🚙💨🚦🚆
